Hip Hop History: Grammy Museum Unveils First Ever Hip-Hop Exhibit (January 30th-February 5th)

As the Grammys are approaching, The Grammy Museum will open up the first ever interactive exhibit all for Hip-Hop this weekend.
The Grammy Museum’s “Hip-Hop: A Cultural Odyssey” will debut this Saturday (February 5th) on the Museum’s second floor, where it will be on display until May 4th. The exhibit, which is based on ARIA Multimedia Entertainment’s book of the same name, takes users on a interactive, visual and audio journey through four-decades of Hip-Hop music. On display are LL Cool J’s Troop jacket and Kangol hat, Grandmaster Flash’s turntables, Run-DMC’s leather pants and jackets from the “Walk This Way” performance with Aerosmith and many other artifacts from various Hip-Hop legends. The Grammy Museum is located at L.A. Live at 800 W. Olympic Blvd, on block form the Staples Center, where the 53rd Annual Grammys will be held on Sunday (February 13th).
