I've always heard that time is precious. Its unfortunate that majority of people often lose sight of the value that time truly holds in our lives. We get caught up with working or other daily distractions that take away from being consciously present in the moment, reflecting on the past or dreaming about the future. This is the main reason that I've made time, the infrastructure for my brand. 5 years ago today I launched Lane Makers Entertainment and started this "blogumentary" in order to document my lifestyle via blogging. At the time I was a senior in college, radio personality and college basketball player heading into my last semester at Emerson College. Today, I am a teacher for the youth in my local community and an aspiring entertainment entrepreneur. Lane Makers Entertainment is currently in the middle of our Decade Documentary which started in 2010 and will come to an end in 2020. This year is the mid-point and a time to reflect (2010-14'), a time to be present (2015) and a time to dream about the future (2016-20'). Be on the lookout for more exclusive content coming from Lane Makers Entertainment! My journey up to this point has been exhilarating. I can honestly say I am exactly where I want to be in my life in order to accomplish exactly what I've dreamed about since a child. To those reading this blog, I want you to know that perseverance and direction is a powerful combination! Through the ups and downs, even hitting rock bottom and bouncing back I have never lost focus on my end goal to liberate and motivate the minds of my fellow Lane Makers. Even after lapses of not be active on the blog because real life became the priority we have still gained 130K blog views and generated over 1 Million Google views which includes video, photo and written content to my account. Today, 5 years later, I can say that the blog has become a true success! Documenting my journey has been such a blessing and getting to the goal of 1 million views is very exciting! That accomplishment lets me know that all the hard work that was put in before 2015 has paid off and that the content posted has a positive effect on people's lives.
