#MYOL News: Happy Birthday Quincy Jones! (March 13th-19th)

Quincy Jones is an American musician. As a conductor, record producer, musical arranger, film composer, television producer, and trumpeter his career spans five decades in the entertainment industry and a record 79 Grammy Award nominations, 27 Grammys, including a Grammy Legend Award in 1991. He is particularly recognized as the producer of the album Thriller, by pop icon Michael Jackson, which has sold more then 110 million copies worldwide, and as the producer and conductor of the charity song “We Are the World”. Mr. Jones' accomplishments, awards and nominations are endless. He was the driving force behind the most classic time in African-American music history. He is an icon and an inspiration in my pursuit to get into the music business one day. The dedication and vision of Mr. Jones is one that I will continue to study and imitate in my growth as a brand.
